Pet Camp Boarding Grooming

When you go on vacation, many times taking your pets just isn't possible so a boarding facility is the answer. Many of my friends tell their pets they are going "to camp." It sounds like fun, doesn't it? The modern boarding facilities offer a lot to keep your pet happy. They are not just put into a cage and forgotten except to feed and walk. The boarding kennel of today makes every effort for your pet to feel at home with pet boarding grooming options. Some even have pet condos with tv and web cams so you can check on your precious baby while you're away. They also offer grooming services. Your pet can have a total spa experience.

No matter how plush the surroundings, dogs who are kenneled often smell less than fresh after a period of time. Coupled with supervised outdoor playtime and even swimming, you can see the advantage of having a groomer on staff. Many places offer a complimentary bath after a few days at no charge. For pets who are boarding for longer periods of time, a grooming before they go home is a nice touch. You come home rested and refreshed and so do your pets. The fanciest places have spa like accommodations, even whirlpool baths, fancy beds, the best food and tv or radio so your pet won't be lonely. You can book extra playtime, daily brushing, and other extras.

All pets are checked for fleas and ticks as they arrive and treated if any are found before they go to their kennel. You usually don't have to worry about your pet "picking up something" while there because today's kennels have very high standards of cleanliness and care. Cats will also be checked for parasites and most places require current vaccinations and negative stool samples before accepting a pet for boarding.

Cats are typically housed in a separate area, so as not to be disturbed by those rowdy, barking canines. You can also arrange daily brushing and petting sessions for your cat. They often have kitty perches and trees in addition to nice beds and large areas to walk around. Gone are the days of cramped quarters and once daily litter box changes. Cats are first class citizens, and just as deserving as their canine counterparts of exceptional service.

Enjoy your vacation and rest assured that if you choose wisely, your pet will have a great experience too while you're away. They'll miss you of course, but a nice environment will make it easier to bear and you can make it up to them when you get home
